Considered one of the greatest collegiate players of all time, Caitlin Clark has been drafted into the professional league as the first overall pick by the Indiana Fever, reports Sky News. After getting drafted into the professional league, Clark told ESPN, "I dreamed of this moment since I was in second grade, and it’s taken a lot of hard work, a lot of ups and downs, but more than anything, just trying to soak it in." The 2024 WNBA draft was held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City Monday night.

She is the all-time leading scorer across men's and women's college basketball. Clark entered the WNBA draft after her final season as a senior at Iowa University. This match was so successful that the tickets were sold for $11,000 and more than 24 million tuned in. It became the most viewed ever in college basketball - men's or women's.
