Buffalo blizard: Winter storm in New York kills 25, hampers travel amid holiday season

As the Bomb Cyclone, a severe winter storm, leaves thousands of people baffled in the US, 25 people have lost their lives in the city of Buffalo, New York.

A family with children had to wait for 11 hours before being rescued in the early hours of Christmas Day. Once the melting snow drifts, it is expected that there will be a rise in the number of victims who have been stuck due to the blizzard.
