BTS members Jin, Jimin throw a surprise birthday party for J-Hope

It was K-pop boyband BTS star J-Hope’s birthday. The singer turned 31 on February 18. As soon as the clock struck midnight, wishes started to pour in from all corners of the world. BTS Army, including us, made it a point to make the day extra special for our favourite J-Hope. But there was someone who made his day extraordinary. We are talking about his boyband BTS members — Jin and Jimin.

In the now-viral video, J-Hope is seen entering a room with a dim light setting. Of course, he didn’t know what was coming. A few seconds later, we can see a person walking towards him with a cake and flowers. Jin and Jimin also share a warm hug with the birthday boy making it a memorable moment for everyone. No, we are not crying, you are crying.

The video of the surprise birthday celebration was shared by J-Hope on Instagram. The note attached to it read, "Happy Hope Day.”

BTS Sensation Jin’s birthday wish for J-Hope

Jin has shared a fun birthday note for J-Hope on Weverse.

The note, which was roughly translated to English, read, "Happy birthday, Hob-ah! It's your special day, have you eaten yet? If not, I'll buy you some spicy raw fish soup, the one you like (to be honest, it's what I like too)."

Jimin, Jungkook wish J-Hope during Live Weverse Session With Fans

When J-Hope conducted a live session with his fans on Weverse, everyone thought it was just like normal days. Well, well, things got jazzed-up when Jimin called J-Hope to extend his warmest birthday greetings.

After J-Hope decided to put the phone on the speaker (read to surprise fans), Jimin said, “I feel embarrassed, my face is turning red. Love you.”

Meanwhile, Jungkook, who joined the call later, couldn't believe that J-Hope was in his 30s. He added, “I only have six months left in my twenties.” Jungkook will celebrate his birthday on September 1.

Jimin also spoke about his weight gain. So much so that he went on to call himself “bulky.”

“I need to start losing weight now. I weigh 67.8 kg. I’m bulky!” he said.

J-Hope Makes Donation On Birthday

J-Hope donated 200 million won (around USD 150,000) to the Seoul Asan Medical Center Children’s Hospital, reported Koreabiomed.

Talking about his donation, J-Hope said, “I hope that I can make a small contribution to the children who are suffering right now. I sincerely hope they can dream of a healthy and hopeful future. I also wanted to give back to my ARMY fans, who have always shown me so much love.”

He added, "So I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again. It means a lot to me that I will continue making donations every year, starting with my birthday this year.”

J Hope’s Upcoming Tour

J-Hope is preparing for his solo tour, which kicks off in Seoul on February 28.
