Britney Spears says she's "holding back" on social media after the controversy surrounding her memoir

Britney Spears is taking a back on social media. The singer, who has been in the news a lot since the publication of her memoir, The Woman in Me, posted a video of herself dancing on Instagram on Wednesday. She said in the caption that she will be concentrating on publishing “past and future” posts for the time being.

I think I post too frequently, so this month I'm going to hold back a little and share some older and newer posts. This occurred in April. She continued by saying that I hope everyone’s week is going well.

She wore a pink bikini and a white crop top with long, ruffled sleeves in the video. She accessorized with a necklace and wore her long blonde hair down. She also wore white pointy-toed boots. One of the allegations was that her mother Lynne "got rid" of her journals and dolls, among other personal items. After receiving a lot of attention, the worried mother refuted the story.
