British supermodel Naomi Campbell welcomes second child

“It’s never too late to become a mother”, said 53-year-old supermodel Naomi Campbell as she announced the arrival of her second child. She had not earlier declared her pregnancy and said anything about the expected motherhood for the second time.

The British model welcomed her first child, a daughter, two years ago. She said that time it was not an adopted child, but she gave birth to her daughter and she had a dream fulfilled with this.




Welcoming her second child, a son, the supermodel posted on her Instagram account, “My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A True Gift from God.”

She was immediately congratulated by fellow model Claudia Schiffer, singer Kelly Rowland and fashion designer Donatella Versace. Naomi Campbell is the first black model to appear on the cover of the fashion magazine ‘Vogue’. She appeared on its cover last year again, this time with her daughter.

She was bestowed an honorary doctorate degree for her contribution to the field of fashion. She continued to perform as a model even after becoming a mother and she appeared for Versace and Alexander McQueen.
