In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Jess Brownell acknowledged that while the team is working to shorten the timeline between seasons, production remains a time-intensive process.

“We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film. Then, they have to be edited and dubbed into multiple languages,” Brownell explained.

“The writing process itself is quite lengthy, so we’re on a two-year cycle for now.”

If this timeline holds, viewers can expect Season 4 to arrive sometime in 2026, continuing the Bridgerton family’s romantic entanglements.

What to Expect in the Plot?

With the writers’ room still fine-tuning the script, plot details for Season 4 remain under wraps.

However, Brownell has assured fans that the creative team is crafting an engaging narrative.

“We’re toward the end of the writing process,” she revealed. “I feel like it’s some of my best work, and my writers’ room’s best work. Our collaboration is stronger than ever, and we’re really firing on all cylinders. I can’t wait for fans to see what we have in store.”

Since the show follows the Bridgerton book series by Julia Quinn, speculation is rife about which sibling will take center stage in Season 4.
