Ayres Sasaki, the Brazilian singer has passed away at the age of 35 after being electrocuted during live performance in Brazil.

Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki has died during a live performance at a hotel in northern Brazilian city of Salinopolis. The 35-year-old musician was electrocuted, as per a report on New York Post.

Sasaki is survived by wife Mariana. The couple got married around 11 months ago. Sasaki was known for kind, soft-hearted nature and on-stage acumen.

The incident happened on July 13 at Salinopolis' Solar Hotel. A fan, who was drenched, rushed to the stage and embraced Ayres Sasaki. As the fan hugged the musician, a nearby cable got jolted and Sasaki was electrocuted.


The fan was injured in the process. Police have launched a probe into the matter.

"We are fully dedicated to providing support to Sasaki family… We reaffirm our commitment to fully cooperating with the competent authorities for the proper clarification of the events," Solar Hotel posted on Instagram.
