Bradley Cooper credits Will Arnett for helping him overcome cocaine and alcohol addiction
Bradley Cooper opened up about his cocaine and alcohol addiction when he appeared on Will Arnett’s podcasts. Cooper credited Arnett with helping him overcome his addictions and expressed gratitude.

Bradley Cooper has some fantastic movies under his belt that include ‘A Star is Born’, ‘The Hangover series, ‘Silver Linings Playbook’, among others.
Cooper admitted that he was insured at the start of his career and had zero self-esteem. He used to imitate the mean humour of famous comedians to look confident. However, after a nasty dinner party, Arnett had a tough conversation with Cooper that changed the latter’s life.
After talking about the dinner party and the conversation, Bradley Cooper said that he believed he was terrific at the party. He thought all liked his jokes and banter. However, Arnett busted his misconception, saying Cooper behaved terribly at the party.
Arnett’s revelation made Cooper realise that he had a problem with drugs and alcohol. Cooper said that the guy he thought did mean humour helped him realise his mistakes. That, according to Cooper, changed his life. He also added that he was ignorant of hurting others, but when Arnett made it apparent, Cooper felt worthless and decided to change.
Cooper explained his problem and said he was lost at that time and addicted to cocaine. Will Arnett, however, took the risk of having a hard-hitting conversation with the actor that changed Cooper’s life. He credits Arnett for the change he incorporated later on.
Responding to Cooper’s confession and credit, Will Arnett said he was happy to see his friend sober and successful. He also added that he was delighted to see Cooper happy with who he was.
