Bradley Beal reportedly agrees to Suns buyout with Clippers in sight
Bradley Beal, after a buyout with the Phoenix Suns, is set to join the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-year, $11 million deal. His time with the Suns was marred by injuries and decreased performance, leading to a roster reset for Phoenix, including ...

Beal joined the Suns via trade from Washington in 2023 but struggled to make an impact, appearing in just 53 games each season due to injuries. His scoring dipped to 17.0 points per game last season - his lowest output in nearly a decade - along with averages of 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals.
The buyout is the latest move in a busy offseason for Phoenix, which finished 36–46 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2020 despite having the league’s most expensive roster.
The Suns parted ways with head coach Mike Budenholzer in April and recently hired former Cavaliers assistant Jordan Ott. Earlier this month, they also dealt Kevin Durant to Houston in a blockbuster seven-team trade, signaling a major roster reset.
With the Clippers, Beal joins a star-studded lineup featuring James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Brook Lopez. His arrival gives Clippers added backcourt depth and experience as they aim to contend in the Western Conference.
Several other teams were reportedly interested in Beal, but the Clippers had the cap flexibility to close the deal and could remain active in free agency over the next two seasons.
