'Bob Marley: One Love' exceeded expectations in the otherwise lackluster week and earned $33.2 million over the four-day holiday weekend. It collected $51 million in the domestic market. The movie traces the songwriter's career across a specific period and concentrates on his historic performance at the One Love Peace Concert in Kingston, Jamaica in 1978.

International market

According to 'Deadline, the film landed well ahead of expectations in the international market and collected $29 million. Thus the film collected a total amount of $80 million. It became the second biggest music biopic opening behind only 'Bohemian Rhapsody'as it has been released in 47 overseas markets.

'Argylle'

'Argylle' comes third and collected only an additional $4.7 million. The spy thriller earned $36.5 million in the domestic, market with a global collection of $76.5 million.

'Migration'

Universal’s 'Migration' continues doing well as it has attracted families who are coming out to the theater to watch a flock of birds get lost in New York City.It collected another $3.7 million towards its $114.8 million domestic total of $255 million global collection.
