Fans worldwide were shocked by the tragic death news of Liam Payne, but now new reports shed light on the sobering darker side to the final moments of his life.

Liam Payne's death has rattled the music fraternity as well as his fans around the world. On October 16, One Direction's former member Payne was found dead after falling from the third-floor balcony in his hotel room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Multiple substances that were on his system at the time of death are found to be "pink cocaine", described as a recreational mix usually combining methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA, cocaine, benzodiazepine, and crack. Investigators discovered an improvised aluminum pipe in his hotel room that served as drug intake, as per reports on ABC News.

Prior to his death, hotel staff contacted authorities, fearing for his safety after noticing Payne was heavily intoxicated with drugs and alcohol. Just seven minutes after the call, emergency responders found Payne's lifeless body in the courtyard of the hotel.


The autopsy, conducted by Argentina's Public Prosecutor’s Office, confirmed that Payne sustained multiple traumas, including severe head injuries, which led to his death. While authorities interviewed a hotel employee suspected of supplying Payne with drugs, no arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed.
