What do the Blue Beetle end-credits scenes reveal?

The other post-credits scene reveals that Ted Kord is alive, without showing him. The original Blue Beetle Ted Kord first appeared in DC Comics in 1966 and was a rage in the eighties. He even had a solo series and the supergroup comic book 'Justice League International'.

Ted Kord is mentioned throughout the Blue Beetle 2023 film but never shown. The post-credits scene revelation means he will be shown in future DCU movies.

Soto revealed to USA TODAY that he wanted the end-credits scene to “give closure” to that plot point about Ted Kord being possibly dead.

“We wanted to not just answer the question but also let the world know that Jaime Reyes’ story is just starting,” Solo said.
