A brand-new series that explores the 16th-century history of the British royal family, the heritage is shown in a modern docuseries on Netflix.

“Blood, Sex, and Royalty”, a British historical documentary will be available on Netflix on November 23, 2022. The drama is combined with documentary-style commentary to investigate the inner lives of two of history's most controversial monarchs, Queen Anne Boleyn and King Henry VIII.

Amy James-Kelly as Anne Boleyn and Max Parker as King Henry VIII star in the series. The documentary also features historians and writers who explain more about the time period. Adam Astill, Lois Brabin-Platt, John Lumsden, Sophie Boettge, Nikhita Lesler, Callum Coates, and Stephen Fewell have also played important roles in the series.

The series has three episodes in all, each lasting around 43-46 minutes. The first episode begins in 1536, in the Tower of London, where Anne Boleyn, Queen of England from 1533 until 1536, was imprisoned pending her trial. She is King Henry VIII's second wife, the second of his six wives.
