With Hollywood insiders turning away and her popularity dwindling, Lively's public image is suffering greatly. Blake Lively's popularity has dipped to a new low as her legal battle with Justin Baldoni progresses.
In her lawsuit against "It Ends With Us" co-star Justin Baldoni, who also directed and produced the film, Blake Lively is attempting to portray herself as a victim of sexual harassment and defamation. However, her public image is reaching a new low, as quoted in a report by the NewsNation.
What do the polls say about Blake Lively?
According to a poll, Lively's popularity is only 54.5% lower than it was a year ago, according to market research firm YouGov, which monitors public figures' fame and popularity. However, this is not as low as it was in January, when Baldoni retaliated with his own lawsuit, which includes his suit along with a timeline of events and receipts to support his claims.
Though it appears to be much higher if you watch reels on social media, only 7% of those surveyed actively dislike her, and 25% were "neutral."
With 86.1% of Americans recognizing her name, her fame index, which measures the proportion of Americans who know her name, has risen five percentage points.
For Lively, who is untouchable in Hollywood, at least while the lawsuit is pending and won't go to trial until 2026, this could be good news.
How is Hollywood reacting to the lawsuit?
Hollywood is reluctant to collaborate with litigious actresses who drive them over budget, as I previously reported.Nobody wants to work with Blake Lively, according to a Hollywood insider. "Her demands and actions exceeded budgets and cost Wayfarer, the producer, and Sony, the distributor of "It Ends With Us," millions of dollars," as quoted in a report by NewsNation.
Is Blake Lively trying to fix her image?
However, by sharing "wholesome" social media content, such as the Saturday story about her in a friend's industrial kitchen while pastry dough was being mixed, Lively is attempting to mend the harm done to her reputation.
