Blake Lively is in a legal fight with actor/director Justin Baldoni, who directed and starred with her in the movie It Ends With Us. Lively accuses Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation and says he tried to ruin her name before the movie’s 2024 release Her legal team is now sending subpoenas to Perez Hilton, Candace Owens, and Andy Signore, as per reports.

Why these people got subpoenaed

Blake’s team wants to prove Baldoni organized a smear campaign, and these three creators publicly talked about the case — mostly in Baldoni’s favor. Perez Hilton talked a lot about the case online and was once legally represented by Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, according to the reports.

Candace Owens said she was never part of the case, didn’t know anyone involved when it started, and only found out from the news. She said she’ll talk more on her podcast. Andy Signore has been covering the Lively-Baldoni story on YouTube since December 2024. He was also the first to share Baldoni’s lawyer’s comments when the defamation case was dropped, as mentioned in the report by TheWrap.

Court already dismissed Baldoni’s case

Baldoni had sued Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and the New York Times for defamation. Judge Lewis J. Liman threw out Baldoni’s lawsuit, saying the New York Times reported the facts correctly, including texts and emails from Lively, as mentioned in the report by TheWrap.

The judge said the article matched Lively’s version of events in her civil rights complaint against Baldoni and his company Wayfarer.
