Blake Lively fans spot almost identical scenes in It Ends With Us and 2011 superhero film Green Lantern amid legal battle with Justin Baldoni

A wild conspiracy theory has now brought in a new twist in the ongoing legal battle between Blake Lively and her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. This is related to the 2011 superhero film Green Lantern, featuring Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds.

On social media, several users have noticed similarities between the dance sequence in It Ends With Us, wherein Lively alleged that she was sexually harassed by Baldoni, and a scene in Green Lantern, featuring her and Reynolds.

Interestingly, Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson during the filming of the Martin Campbell directorial.

In their posts, several fans have claimed that the intimate scene between Lively and Reynolds in the 2011 film was the moment when the two of them fell for each other, speculating that Lively thought of replicating the scene in It Ends With Us with Baldoni.

One use on X (formerly Twitter) said that she while watching Green Lantern, she noticed that nearly 30 minutes into the film there was a scene where Lively and Reynolds can be seen dancing in a bar, which, the user claimed, was almost identical to the slow dance scene from It Ends With Us. But the only difference between the two scenes was that the characters were talking in the earlier film.

The person asked whether it is possible that Lively might have tried to recreate the scene and whether Reynolds saw it and felt jealous “because it hit a nerve.”

Baldoni, in his $400-million counter lawsuit, has claimed that the Hollywood couple tried to take control of the film.

Previously, several news outlets in the US reported that Lively riled the film's producers with her demand to take creative control of It End With Us. She once even confessed that Reynolds is “all over this movie.”

Talking about the iconic rooftop scene, she claimed that it was actually Reynolds who wrote it.

Lively earlier shared that the two of them help each other, adding that Reynolds “works on everything I do, I work on everything he does.”
