‘Black Widow 2’: Marvel Studios executive Andy Park hints of sequel
Marvel Studios’s Director of Visual Development Andy Park confirmed the possibility via an Instagram post intended to promote the new "The Art of Black Widow" book.

Natasha Romanoff's death in "Avengers: Endgame" left many fans wondering if a sequel to the 2021 "Black Widow" film would be possible. The sequel would either need to be a prequel or feature a different character, making it a challenging task. But recent news has given fans of the spy character reason to be hopeful about the future.

Marvel Studios’s Director of Visual Development Andy Park shared the news of confirmation of Black Widow’s sequel along with its title via an Instagram post promoting the latest “The Art of Black Widow” book. Andy Park wrote on the social media platform, “Taskmaster, the Red Guardian, Yelena AND Valentina Allegra de Fontaine will be returning in the upcoming THUNDERBOLTS film. It’s like these movies are connected or something!”
Marvel fans might be aware that the mentioned characters Taskmaster, Red Guardian, Yelena and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine are set to appear in MCU’s Thunderbolt, which is expected to hit theatres on July 26, 2024.
Andy Park didn’t give more details on the upcoming movie’s storyline, however, these two titles will be ‘connected’.
