Brad Winderbaum, the head of the Marvel Studios streaming, television and animation division, has said that he does not think a TV series on Okoye is in the works.
Okoye spin-off cancelled?
Winderbaum told Pay or Wait that fans of the Black Panther character might have to wait a bit for her return. He admitted that Okoye’s fans will be excited to see her back, but it is unlikely that the return would be in a TV series.Winderbaum also added that he does not know when or where the character might return to screens. The rumours of a spin-off focusing on Okoye had been doing the rounds since 2021, Gamesradar reported.

Where could Okoye be seen next?
Since a TV series has been ruled out for the time being, Danai Gurira may next be seen playing the tough bodyguard in either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars.Black Panther 3
Recently rumours were circulating about Chadwick Boseman’s character T’Challa being recast for Black Panther 3. Producer Nate Moore refuted the rumours and said there was no truth to them, Deadline reported.However he did not rule out the possibility entirely. Moore admitted that there had not been a lot of conversations with Black Panther director Ryan Coogler on the matter since he was busy with his horror flick Sinners.
Moore said that work on Black Panther 3 has not started yet so any rumours about a recast would be false.

Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther
The late actor had garnered critical acclaim for his role as T’Challa. He first appeared in the film Captain America: Civil War, followed by roles in Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The actor died in 2020 due to colon cancer.
