Black Adam box office collection: 'Rock' Dwayne Johnson's film is unstoppable. Check latest figures

Dwayne Johnson's "Black Adam" is expected to continue its hold in the box office earnings. Next week the grand opening of "Black Panther-Wakanda Forever" is expected. Superheroes are required to create hits.

"Black Adam" has already earned $120 million in the domestic circuit. The DC film "One Piece Film: Red" could not dislodge "Black Adam" since the latter hit the theatres in October. "One Piece Film: Red" is expected to come in second, earning around $4.8 million, and will be able to gross $10 million this weekend.





This is Crunchyroll's second good film, with the earlier one being "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero," which grossed $21 million as an anime film. Funimation's: "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The movie" is another anime film that grossed $18 million.

Critics have noticed that audiences prefer anime films, and there are frequent releases. However, Variety film critic Peter Debruge says that anime as a genre is doing very well in America as audiences are very receptive towards them.

"One Piece Film: Red" would have done better, but for an A certification. In the meantime, "Ticket to Paradise" starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, which has done brilliantly overseas, grossing $88 million there, has got in third place. "Smile" is expected to come forth and be the 15th film to cross the $100 million mark this year. "Prey for the Devil" is expected to rise to 13.26 million domestically.
