Billy Jack Haynes, the ex-wrestler, arrested after wife found dead inside home, claims report

Former professional wrestler Billy Jack Haynes has been taken into custody following accusations of fatally shooting his wife Janette Becraft, as per a report in New York Post.

The incident reportedly took place at Haynes' residence in Oregon last Thursday.

Law enforcement officers were called to the Lents neighborhood in Portland on February 8 following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, it was discovered that Billy Jack Haynes was barricaded inside the residence and was unwilling to cooperate with authorities, the NY Post report says.


After a two-hour standoff, during which SWAT teams were deployed, the 70-year-old Haynes was apprehended without any resistance. Tragically, his 85-year-old wife was found deceased inside the residence.
