Bill Anderson to become new CEO of Bayer
Bill Anderson is set to take charge as the CEO of Bayer.

Bayer's incumbent CEO Werner Baumann will exit early after serving the company for 35 years. Baumann has been leading the company for seven years and he was supposed to serve as the CEO till April, 2024.
Bill Anderson was Roche's pharmaceutical chief.
Meanwhile, Baumann's impending exit comes amidst criticism from investors. Shareholders have been venting anger against Bayer's incumbent CEO Werner Baumann since the acquisition of Monsanto in 2018.
Anderson's selection was backed by Bayer’s board. The selection process began in mid-2022.
