Big loss for Donald Trump! Court gives nod to release his tax returns to US House panel
Supreme Court, on Tuesday, gave the IRS(Internal Revenue System) permission to share former President Donald Trump's tax returns with a Democratic-led House committee.

The appeals court is skeptical of Trump's request for a special master's assessment of the Mar-a-Lago search. Trump's legal team has consistently fought to keep his tax returns private, and after losing at the lower court level, he moved to the Supreme Court, which is made up of three of his nominees.
On November 1, Chief Justice who oversees the lower court that issued the order in the Trump case put a temporary stop on the subpoena, apparently to allow the justices more time to evaluate the issue.
The House Ways and Means Committee Chairman, Richard Neal, the democrat from Massachusetts, initially requested the tax records from the IRS in the year 2019, and the agency first refused to provide them under the Trump administration.
The lawsuit went slowly until 2021 during which the Justice Department revised its legal chance and determined that the IRS was compelled to cooperate with the committee's request under the Biden administration. Late last year, a Trump-appointed judge ruled in favor of the House, and the US DC Circuit Court of Appeals refused to reverse that decision, most recently with the full appeals court declining to hear the case.
