OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has now launched a bombastic claim that DeepSeek AI's models were developed using the proprietary technology of their company's products and services. This sudden claim has raised concerns about intellectual property theft in the AI industry, which is one of the fastest-growing markets at this point.

OpenAI claims DeepSeek used a unique process to train from ChatGPT

According to a New York Post report, OpenAI suspects that DeepSeek used a 'distillation' process to build its own AI model. This kind of process makes smaller AI models perform better and faster than larger models as they only learn the best from it, and do away with anything that is not necessary.
