Big Cat Declassified

Tim Whittard, producer of ‘Panthera Britannia Declassified said that the documentary is data-driven, real science and real experts have been used and objectivity has been maintained. He also claimed that hundreds of witnesses have been interviewed and thousands of files have been pored for making the documentary.

Big Cat Was Quite Normal

Tim Whittard also said that it was legally allowed to keep such a big cat till 1976, it was a status symbol to keep it and these animals were quite normal to be seen. But when the law related to the ownership of animals was changed, many owners let their animals off to the forest. He added that the animals seen today are the offspring of those abandoned big cats.
