Biden and Harris were so nice to me in phone calls that it becomes difficult to attack them, says Trump

Following an apparent attempt on Trump's life over the weekend, the former president hinted on Tuesday that it was harder to attack President Biden and Vice President Harris because they were both so nice in their calls.
Biden treated Trump so well and felt sorry about what happened, as per what Trump said, reliving his conversation with Biden from Monday's campaign town hall in Michigan. The audience booed Trump when he mentioned the very nice call he had with Harris earlier in the event.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was accused of firing at a Secret Service agent after he allegedly pushed a rifle's muzzle through a fence around Trump's West Palm Beach, Florida, golf course while he was there. Routh was charged with two gun offenses on Monday. On Monday, Trump accused Biden and Harris, his rivals in the November election, of inciting violence against him with their words.

The former president has disparaged Biden on numerous occasions, laughed at her intelligence, and called her a Marxist who would destroy the nation. He has also called Biden the worst president in history.

Trump poses a serious threat to democratic principles and liberties like the right to obtain reproductive healthcare, as both Biden and Harris have cautioned. Both of them have denounced political violence in general and the events of Sunday in particular.
