There were no intentions to host the Formation singer, Beyoncé, at the DNC.

The Democratic millennials are furious that Beyoncé did not attend the convention. Following what seemed to be a suggestion by a White House staffer that Beyoncé would be performing at the party convention, the Democrats have been accused of disseminating false information.

The White House political director, Emmy Ruiz, stoked rumours on Thursday afternoon when she uploaded a bee emoticon on X. The tweet was posted amid rumours that Beyoncé, whose millennial fan base goes by the name The Beyhive, would perform live at Chicago's United Center. The singer's admirers call her Queen Bey and frequently pay homage to her with pictures of bees.
A follow-up tweet from Ms Ruiz clarified that it was a small blunder, and her little daughter quelled the flurry of rumours on social media. The Harris campaign frequently uses Beyoncé's song Freedom for political advertisements and rallies. When Ms. Harris took the stage for her 45-minute speech at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, it was blaring out. When questioned earlier this week, Democratic National Committee Chairman Jamie Harrison refused to rule out the singer's attendance at the convention.
Beyoncé's song Freedom was also featured in a social media video released by Donald Trump's campaign, but it had to be taken down after Beyoncé threatened to sue this week.
