Beyoncé and Jay-Z buy ‘most expensive home’ in California. See details

Beyoncé and Jay-Z seem to have bought the most expensive home in California’s history.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have bought a 30,000-square foot home in Malibu. The house seems to have a record-breaking price tag of $200 million. It seems to be also the biggest real estate transaction in California’s history, as per TMZ. The deal seems to have broken the previous record of $177 million.

Not just this, it is also the second most expensive home in US history. The costliest deal to buy a home was for $238 million for a New York City property.

So, once Beyoncé ends her “Renaissance World Tour”, the singer will have a brand new and luxurious home to return to.

Although the property was originally listed for $295 million, Beyoncé and JAY-Z seem to have got an amazing deal. The power couple, who have a combined net worth of $2.5 billion, seems to have had no problem in securing a mortgage.

Designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the home was previously owned by art collector William Bell. He had spent 15 years building the all-concrete structure. The home sits on an 8-acre property, which overlooks Paradise Cove of Malibu.
