Beverly Johnson famous supermodel, discusses anti-aging secrets: No knife will ever come near me

Beverly Johnson, the first black woman to appear on the cover of Vogue almost fifty years ago, still has the same supermodel complexion.

To keep her young appearance, she swears upon premium skin care products and a little Botox .

Being black is great because we have an advantage in terms of appearance. Black people do not crack, Johnson says.


Regarding her Botox injections, Johnson remarked, "No one knows I have it because I look like myself, not like a copy of someone else's style."

Johnson, who debuted as a Vogue cover girl in August 1974, is approaching her 50th anniversary with the same radiant complexion and strong runway presence that made her a household name and appeared on the covers of over 500 magazines.

The supermodel is still very much in the spotlight; at New York Fashion Week last year, she walked for Sergio Hudson and Bibhu Mohapatra. Therefore, it's critical that she maintains her toned body and muscular strength to rock 7-inch heels.

Ironically, Johnson used to make fun of modeling as a career in college, focusing instead on the courtroom than the runway.
