The Black Entertainment Television or the BET Awards 2022 were announced on Sunday evening. The 2022 edition of the popular award was hosted by Taraji P. Henson, who also hosted the show last night. BET Awards 2022 was held at the Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles. The BET Award covers the sports and entertainment industry, including music, acting, direction, and more. The award ceremony also includes performances by renowned and upcoming artists, which are presented on television.

Inaugurated in 2001, the BET Awards is an annual award ceremony organized by Black Entertainment Television, an American channel targeting African-American audiences. The BET Awards are organized to celebrate the artistic contributions and honor the excellence of African-American individuals. The BET Awards 2022 was presented by Idris Elba, Luke James, Tamar Braxton, Will Packer, and others.

The annual award show saw great performances from Babyface, Chance the Rapper, Chlöe, Doechii, Ella Mai, Fireboy DML, GIVĒON, Jack Harlow, Joey Bada$$, Maverick City Music x Kirk Franklin, Latto, Lil Wayne, Lizzo, Muni Long, and Roddy Ricch.
