Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus, has stated that Belarus and Russia will organise a joint military task force to handle the increased tensions on the country’s western borders.

Both Belarus and Russia have already signed an agreement for joint military operation amid war in Ukraine. Moreover, Russia is already using Belarus as a base for sending troops, equipment, and supplies to combat sites in northern Ukraine.

According to news media reports on Monday, both countries had already begun organising resources for a joint task force. The explosion on the bridge to Crimea apparently ramped up the joint initiative.

Monday morning offensive

Meanwhile, on Monday morning, Russian cruise missiles were fired into busy downtown areas and tourist sites in Kyiv with savage brutality. Several people were found dead or severely wounded on the street, surrounded by cars in flame. People rushed to the metro stations for safety. Several huge craters created by the missiles were seen in many places.

Unfair tactics

The Ukraine authorities condemned Russia's deliberate attempt to cause damage to civilian life and property. The Ukrainian President said that Monday's attack showed Russia's clear intention to destroy civilian life and wipe Ukraine out from the world map.
