Peacock has renewed its popular series Bel-Air for a fourth season, which will also serve as its final installment. The series has been a modern take on the 1990s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The announcement of Bel-Air Season 4 comes three months after the conclusion of its third season. The show was initially picked up in 2020 with a two-season order, marking its quick rise as a signature title for Peacock.

Plot and Cast

The story centers on a teenager, Will, played by Jabari Banks, who moves from West Philadelphia to Los Angeles to live with his wealthy relatives. The series reimagines the original sitcom as a drama, inspired by a viral concept video by Morgan Cooper.

The cast includes Jabari Banks, Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones and Simone Joy Jones.

Bel-Air has featured numerous guest stars. These include members of the original Fresh Prince cast such as Tatyana Ali, Joseph Marcell, Vernee Watson-Johnson and Daphne Maxwell Reid. Other guest stars have included WWE's Bianca Belair, Bill Bellamy, Marlon Wayans and Saweetie.

The series is helmed by Carla Banks Waddles, who serves as the showrunner, writer and executive producer. Morgan Cooper also contributes as a director and executive producer. Other executive producers include Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina and Quincy Jones. The show is a collaboration between Universal Television and Westbrook Studios. The fourth season of Bel-Air will bring the series to its conclusion.
