As Pink Venom is still leading strong on Billboard Global 200, the Blackpink team, consisting of Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa, is coming forward with more information about their creative process. This time, they are raising the veil on their collaborators, who did an excellent job assisting the band’s members.

Who are the collaborators of Blackpink’s ‘Pink Venom’?
After working with an eclectic batch of collaborators in Pink Venom’s creative process, Blackpink is revealing them.
Bekuh Boom
Bekuh Boom, aka Rebecca Rose Johnson, is a singer-cum-songwriter who has been with this K-pop girl group since the beginning. Boom was connected with the band in 2012 via YG Entertainment while pursuing her artist deal. Boom had also co-written some of their debut singles, including Boombayah and Whistle.

The group seems more liberating and fiercer in ‘Pink Venom’ as Boom has returned as an original collaborator representing a sonic and thematic rebirth. Boom is happy to be part of the K-pop family and enjoys their creative process.
Brian Lee
Another collaborator of Blackpink is Brian Lee, who is better known as a regular contributor to Post Malone songs. He co-wrote the song ‘Tally’ for Born Pink, which is different from anything the group created in the past. Until recently, it would seem unlikely for a K-pop performance to add an ode to sexual freedom, as he said in Tally. It has become possible because two of Lee’s co-contributors are also women.
Freddy Wexler
Another contributor is Freddy Wexler, the songwriter-entrepreneur who made up ‘Hard To Love’ during an informal jam session with friends. Eventually, he shared the demo with Park and was amazed to get a response the very next day. It was a Facetime call from teddy, Rosé, and Lisa.
