Before FIFA World Cup 2022 clash with Germany, Spain's coach Luis Enrique remembers late daughter Xana
Spain's national football team coach Luis Enrique remembered his daughter ahead of their clash with Germany in the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Enrique paid tribute to his late daughter through an Instagram post. The 52-year-old manager stated that November 27 was "a special day" because not only would Spain take on Germany for a FIFA world cup match but also because his late daughter would turn 13 on the date.
While paying tribute to his daughter, Enrique stated that wherever Xana was, they loved her. Xana passed away in 2019 after a five-month battle with a rare form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma.
The tribute video was filmed when Spain's national football team coach was riding his morning bike. Notably, Luis Enrique stepped down from the post of Spain's national football team coach in the later stages of Xana's illness in 2019 to spend more time with his family. However, he later returned to the post.
Sira Martinez, Enrique's second daughter, also paid tribute to her little sister. Sira is in a relationship with Ferran Torres, who is set to play in the game against Germany. Torres scored two goals in Spain's first World Cup game against Costa Rica.
