Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: All we know about digital, blu-ray and DVD release

The sequel to the 1988 film Beetlejuice is set to release in digital, Blu-ray and DVD formats. Fans can purchase Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on various platforms with added features starting in October.

Digital Release

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be available digitally on Tuesday, October 8. The movie can be purchased for $24.99 on platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV and other video-on-demand services. An American Sign Language (ASL) version of the movie will also be available starting November 1.

Blu-ray and DVD Release

On November 19, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD (Steelbook). The prices for these formats will start at $26.99. These versions will include special features for fans. Some of the notable features include behind-the-scenes content and insights from director Tim Burton.

Plot and Characters

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice takes place 36 years after the events of the original movie. Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder, is the main character. She seeks to mend her broken relationship with her daughter, Astrid. Beetlejuice, played by Michael Keaton, returns to help them. The movie features many well-known actors, including Catherine O'Hara, Justin Theroux and Jenna Ortega. The plot revolves around Lydia's family dealing with supernatural events. This happens when her daughter accidentally opens a portal to the Afterlife.
