The Battle of Ontario is back after a long hiatus of over two decades. Game 1 of the renewed version of the famed NHL rivalry will see the Ottawa Senators clash with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday (April 20). The last time that the two sides came face-to-face in the postseason was 2004. The matchup is one of the three fixtures scheduled to take place on the second day of the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs.

Battle of Ontario schedule announced

The NHL has released the full time-table for the lineup of the first round playoff games between the Maple Leafs and the Senators. The venue for the first game of the Battle of Ontario will be Toronto's Scotiabank Arena. Game 2 is slated to take place on Tuesday (April 22). This clash will also be hosted by Toronto.

The thrill of the third matchup will unfold at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa. Game 3 has been scheduled for April 24. Lastly, the fourth clash, the second home game for the Senators in the upcoming Battle of Ontario, will take place on April 26.

Battle of Ontario: Ticket sale

The sale for single-game tickets for the third and fourth match of the first round playoff series between the Senators and the Maple Leafs went live on Thursday (April 17). Ottawa Senators has already said that only "a limited number of tickets" will be available for the two upcoming matches at the Canadian Tire Centre.

"For fans looking to guarantee their seats for every home playoff game, the best option is still through becoming a 2025–26 Season Seat Member, which also comes with preferred playoff ticket pricing," the team said on its page on the NHL website.
