This remarkable financial milestone has been achieved in just over a year, marking Barron as a rising crypto entrepreneur and key figure behind the family’s new digital-era wealth strategy.
Barron played an instrumental role in introducing his father to cryptocurrency, explaining complex concepts like crypto wallets and digital tokens, which directly led to the family co-founding World Liberty Financial (WLFI) in late 2024.
Launched weeks before the 2024 presidential election, WLFI’s tokens and stablecoins surged spectacularly in value following Donald Trump’s victory, increasing the family fortune by more than $1.5 billion.
Reports indicate Barron holds about 10 percent of WLFI, translating to his $150 million net worth, including $80 million earned directly from Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency investments along with more from token sales and strategic partnerships. Some of his token holdings are still locked but could potentially add another millions in value once marketable.
Barron, a sophomore business student at New York University’s Stern School of Business, balances his academic pursuits with managing and expanding cryptocurrency projects, defining a new path for wealth accumulation in the Trump family. Barron, who doesn’t have any additional known assets, could pay his $67,430 NYU Stern School of Business tuition more than 2,200 times with that kind of money.
While President Trump’s net worth remains near $7.3 billion, Barron’s rapidly growing crypto fortune makes him one of the most notable young figures in digital finance, already surpassing his siblings Ivanka and Don Jr. in public acclaim as a crypto entrepreneur.
