It is facing backlash for the campaign launched to promote the "Objects" range. It led to Kim Kardashian (an ambassador for Balenciaga) putting out a statement. Since then, Balenciaga has removed the images and is taking action on the photoshoot. The brand considers a massive fan following, and many influencers and celebs are fans of its luxury goods. The Backlash

One of the two campaigns showed child models posing with bear bags which appear to be soft toys at first glance but also look like bondage-fetish items. Balenciaga first posted the pictures on November 16, which started going viral. People in the US objected to the images as they felt they "over- intimated" the younger population. June Nicole Lapine, a YouTuber, tweeted sarcastically criticizing the brand and got massive traction. It led to Balenciaga deleting all the images.
