Bake Off 2022: Contestants for Great British bake off series announced. Here is the full list

The competitors for the new series, the 13th, of The Great British “Bake Off” have just come in and the list of bakers you might want to cheer is right here. The show goes to the floors on September 13 and shows hosts Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith continue as judges.

“Bake Off” will also be showcasing Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas to host the series.

Abdul (Electronics Engineer)
This 29-year-old Electronics Engineer from London used to bake for his friends to make their moments during coffee breaks more enjoyable. Matcha is among his favourite flavours and he is able to think precisely and understand the science behind baking.

Carole (Cashier)
59-year-old Carole from Dorset who works as a cashier in a supermarket is another interesting competitor. She began baking her first birthday cake for her granddaughter and then began her passion for the craft. She guided herself to perfection through YouTube and loves the flavours fruity and punchy.

Dawn (IT Manager)
60-year-old Dawn is an IT manager from Bedfordshire who loves to challenge herself by just dreaming of a cake. She loves to decorate her cakes with whacky and complicated designs just for the fun of it. She is proud that she has a pair of steady hands that have a habit of detail, especially for designing her biscuits with intricate lace patterns. Her favourite flavours are lemony, salty caramel, and all things with nuts in them.

James (Nuclear Scientist)
This 25-year-old movie buff from Cumbria loves horror films made in the 70s and 80s. This passion for horror can be seen in his bakes which constitute frightening titbits which children just adore. His flavours are mixed spice, apple and caramel.

Janusz (Assistant Head Teacher)
This 34-year-old teacher from East Sussex followed the path to baking from the guiding light of his mother. She would churn out bakes on Saturday which Janusz continued while studying at university. His baking style is cartoon-like and colourful and camp-style. He mixes Polish ingredients in British traditional bakes. His favourite flavours are ginger and chocolate.

Kevin (Music Teacher)
This 33-year-old music teacher from Lanarkshire started baking at 17. He hones his craft by using the best practices applicable along with seasonal ingredients while constantly refining his technique. Once these are in place he is confident the presentation will automatically follow. He combines various fruits, herbs, nuts and spices to produce exquisite bakes.

Maisam (Student and Sales Assistant)
This young lady has been baking since the age of 13 and she uses her knowledge of baking to get her creations right. She puts in plenty of repeated trials to get things perfect. Mediterranean traditions have inspired her favourite flavours like olives, dates and sesame seeds.

Maxy (Architectural Assistant)
This 29-year-old from London has been into baking since her first daughter arrived and being an artist she uses this skill to decorate her bakes. Cardamom, saffron buns and cinnamon rolls are her favourite flavours from Scandinavia, having been brought up so.
