Even after two decades, the fanbase of Avatar is still intact, and 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' has become one of the most acclaimed animated series of all time. The narrative of Netflix’s adventure drama fits well in the fantasy series where the world is split into kingdoms that are at perpetual war. 'Avatar: The Last Airbender', the live-action remake of the Nickelodeon animated series of the same name, has the regions defined by fire, earth, water, and air. Each of these regions has people with the power to bend their elements to their will and use them as weapons.

Aang- Last Airbender

According to 'Screenrant', the Netflix series is an adaptation, keeping the original spirit intact. In 'Avatar: The Last Airbender', Aang, played by Gordon Cormier, is the last airbender, who can bend each of the four elements, earth, wind, water, and fire. He is the last avatar who has emerged after 100 years of being frozen in ice.

Aang takes Katara's help

In an attempt to learn the remaining bending skills and save the world from the threat of the Fire Nation, Aang takes the help of Katara, portrayed by Kiawentiio, and her brother Sokka, played by Ian Ousley.

Aang takes on Zuko

Aang comes from a tribe with face markings in the form of a big arrow pointing down towards the face. He rejects his destiny and behaves like a normal child as he says, "I never asked to be special!".

Zuko chases Aang
