Austin shooting: Three killed, many critical in 'officer involved' horrific incident in Buford bar

Austin shooting: Wee hours mass shooting at a bar in Buford's on West 6th Street in Austin, Texas has killed three people and injured 14. The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday in which police have shot dead the suspect at the place of occurrence.

An emergency call was made at 1.59 a.m (local time) on Sunday to paramedics. Authorities concerned rushed to the spot. Three people succumbed to injuries on the spot, 14 individuals were taken to hospitals. Three of them suffered critical injury, Fox San Antonio reported quoting Austin-Travis County EMS Chief.

Austin Police officers are on scene investigating an Officer Involved Shooting in the 600 block of Rio Grande Street. The suspect is deceased. The incident originated as a shoot/stab hotshot incident with multiple people injured. Please avoid the area. More information to follow.
