Audi boss dead as he falls from 10,000 feet while climbing mountain in Italy
Audi executive Fabrizio Longo died after falling from 10,000 feet while climbing Italy's Cima Payer in the Adamello mountains.

The summit is located in northern Italy near Italian-Swiss border. Longo's body was spotted inside a gorge. He was announced dead and the body was taken to nearby Italian town of Carisolo.
A probe has been initiated by the local administration.
Who Was Fabrizio Longo?
Fabrizio Longo was the head of operations of Audi in Italy. He started his automotive career with Italian carmaker Fiat. Longo will join another Italian auto manufacturer Lancia.Apart from being an executive, Longo was avid enthusiast of Ski and mountaineering.

This is the second incident within a month wherein business executives suffered fatal accidents. British billionaire Mike Lynch died in August when his yacht sank off the coast of Sicily.

The British-flagged Bayesian, a 56-metre-long (184-foot) yacht, capsized and went down on August 19 within minutes of being hit by a pre-dawn storm while anchored off northern Sicily.
The sinking has puzzled naval marine experts, who said a vessel like the Bayesian, built by Italian high-end yacht manufacturer Perini, should have withstood the storm and, in any case, should not have sunk as quickly as it did.
