Melania and Ivanka Trump used thousands of dollars of USAID funds to finance their pet projects during Donald Trump's first term as the US President, and now those spending has also come out in the open during the scrutiny by Trump himself.

USAID has maintained close ties with the Trump family members and has invested in their government ventures for a long time. They even helped in financing Melania Trump's Be Best program and Ivanka Trump's Women's Global Development and Prosperity Initiative during the first term of Donald Trump, according to the Daily Mail UK report.


The fund given to Ivanka Trump's women's business initiative along with an antipoverty program was somewhere close to the $250 million-plus figures, which is a whopping sum. During that time, Ivanka and Melania Trump showered a lot of praise on USAID and their consistent assistance towards their government ventures. But, it now looks like the head of the family, Donald Trump, now the President, is not quite happy about the agency.
