The Eras Tour of Taylor Swift has officially become the highest-grossing concert tour of all time in history while amassing a staggering $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales over its near about two-year run, reported Cosmopolitan.

According to Cosmopolitan, this huge figure was eventually confirmed by Taylor Swift Touring and was reported by the New York Times. The tour consisted of 149 shows and attracted over 10 million fans while generating over $13.9 million per show on an average and pretty significantly surpassed the previous record held by eminent and renowned band Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour which grossed approximately $1 billion.

Adding onto the ticket sales, the famous concert film of Eras Tour has grossed near about $261 million worldwide which further contributed to the financial success of Taylor Swift. Cosmopolitan asserted that during her final performance in the month of December held in Vancouver, Taylor Swift eventually expressed her gratitude to fans for creating a community of joy and support throughout the tour.
