Arsenal to face MLS All-Stars; Here’s how Wayne Rooney responded

Arsenal has announced its plans to play against an MLS All-Stars team during their summer trip to the United States as they gear up for the 2023/24 season. This will mark their second consecutive visit to the U.S. following last year's tour where they played against Everton, Orlando City, and Chelsea in three matches within a week.

On July 19, Arteta's team will journey to Washington D.C. to play against a group of selected players from Major League Soccer in the All-Star game.

This year's edition will feature Wayne Rooney, the current head coach of D.C. United, leading the All-Star team since the game is taking place in his city. This will be Rooney's third appearance in the annual fixture, having played in it for Manchester United in 2011 and the MLS All-Stars against Atletico Madrid in 2019.
