'Ark: The Animated Series': Release date, where to watch online, download, episodes, key details

Academy award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh along with 'Fast and The Furious' star Vin Diesel are part of the epic TV series "Ark: The Animated Series", based on an adventure-based video game "Ark: Survival Evolved". The season is streaming exclusively on Paramount+ OTT platform starting today, Hollywoodreporter reported.

There are six episodes in this epic series that includes the background narrations by Michelle Yeoh and Vin Diesel. There will also be a second season of this series, which may be announced in some time by Paramount+. There will be seven episodes in the second part, as per the Hollywoodreporter report.

The adaption of the Ark series was initially though of in 2020 and the production began accordingly. However, there was an uncertainty back then regarding a streaming platform for it's release post it's production.

The story revolves around a 21st century paleontologist and explorer Helena Walker who finds herself on a mysterious islands where many beasts from prehistoric times reside. She has to survive these beasts and all the other challenges of the island as long as she can. She has to make allies on the island in order to stay protected and survive there.

The series is streaming currently on popular OTT platform Paramount+ which is available across US, Canada, Latin America, and several European countries that include Austria, France, Germany, Italy and more. Paramount + is also available to stream in Mexico.
