Sky secure seventh win of season at Wintrust Arena

Chicago Sky defeated the Minnesota Lynx 87–81 in a WNBA regular season game played at Wintrust Arena. The win improved the Sky’s season record to 7–13, while the Lynx dropped to 18–4.

Chicago led early, taking a 29–23 advantage in the first quarter and extending the lead to 57–44 by halftime. Despite a strong third quarter push by Minnesota, the Sky maintained control in the final stretch. Ariel Atkins led all Sky players with 27 points, while Angel Reese posted a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Kamilla Cardoso also contributed significantly, recording 17 points and 15 rebounds.

Additional support came from Elizabeth Williams, who added 8 points and 2 assists in 12 minutes. Rebecca Allen recorded 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Collier leads Lynx in scoring in tight loss

For the Minnesota Lynx, Napheesa Collier recorded a team-high 23 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 assists in 29 minutes. Courtney Williams nearly completed a triple-double, finishing with 9 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. Kayla McBride scored 14 points in 25 minutes.

Off the bench, Diamond Miller scored 6 points in 5 minutes. Natisha Hiedeman added 3 points, and Maria Kliundikova tallied 1 rebound and 1 assist. Alissa Pili, Karlie Samuelson, and Anastasiia Olairi Kosu were listed but did not record any statistics.
