The former campaign manager for former US President Barack Obama, Jim Messina expressed severe concerns about early voting trends for the campaign of US Vice President Kamala Harris during an interview named ‘Inside with Jen Psaki’ on MSNBC, reported The Hill. According to Jim Messina, the Republicans are voting early this time at historically higher rates which could eventually and significantly alter the US Presidential election night results.

According to The Hill, Jim Messina exclaimed that the early voting numbers are a little scary while emphasizing on the fact that Republican turnout in early voting is pretty stronger than in previous elections specifically since Donald Trump had discouraged early voting.

In spite of such a concern, Jim Messina remains pretty optimistic about the support of Kamala Harris among the key demographics especially among young voters and women while she also highlighted that women make up to around 55% of early voters and that young voter turnout in the battleground states is portraying promising increases, noted The Hill.
