Arcade Fire's frontman Win Butler accused of sexual misconduct, singer denies

Arcade Fire’s frontman Win Butler has been accused of sexual misconduct allegations made against him, though he denied all four citing each one was consensual.

American Canadian singer and songwriter Win Butler, who has been accused of sexual misconduct, claimed all his relationships were consensual, according to the latest reports.

Edwin Farnham Butler III is popularly renowned globally as Win Butler. He is a multi-instrumentalist musician and singer with millions of fan followers. Win Butler and his wife Chassagne jointly founded a Canadian Indie rock band, Arcade Fire.

Arcade singer celebrated his 42nd birthday this April 14.


But reports have recently raised claims about Arcade Fire's frontman singer Win Butler. He was accused of sexual misconduct by four people. According to Pitchfork, one of the accusers said that when they were mere 21-years-old when Win Butler had sexually assaulted them. The individual claiming this against Win Butler belongs to a gender-fluid community. Gender-fluid individuals change their gender identity on a timely basis and call themselves with they/them pronouns.

The accuser added further that Win Butler has sexually exploited him not just once but twice. The claims against this frontman singer don't stop here.

Three of his accusers claimed that they were assaulted sexually by Win Butler when he was 36 or 39 years old. Furthermore, they shared that the power dynamics and age gap were the two potential reasons for the inappropriate relationship with this singer.

The three women are fans of Arcade's singer Win Butler. The accusers outlined and highlighted some key points as pieces of evidence for their sexual assault. They quoted that the rock band singer Win Butler was in depression and was prone to drinking at that time.

Whereas, Win Butler has given anomalous answers to the media, claiming the allegations raised to be completely false. Supporting this he said, the relationships were all valid and he has shared it all with his son.

He said that his marriage was more unconventional than some of the relationships he had. In addition to these the mutual conversations were with individuals' consent. He ended with adding a note of apology and a sorry if his behavior has hurt someone.
