The news came out on October 12 2026. The sandwiches are only available for a time at certain Arby’s places all over the United States. Arby’s New Chicken Cheesesteak Sandwiches
The new menu offers Chicken Cheesesteak, Chicken Deluxe Cheesesteak and Spicy Chicken Cheesesteak. Each of these starts with chicken that has been marinated in a blend of spices, including garlic, onion and paprika.Chicken Cheesesteak, Chicken Deluxe Cheesesteak and Spicy Chicken Cheesesteak are cooked vide to keep them moist then seared and finally served with cheese on a toasted sesame roll. Arby’s uses Cooper Sharp, an aged American cheese often linked with Philly-style cheesesteaks.
Here’s what makes each sandwich different:
Chicken Cheesesteak: This classic version brings together seasoned chicken and melted cheese and caramelized onions.
Chicken Deluxe Cheesesteak: It has lettuce and sliced tomatoes for crunch and a fresh taste.
Spicy Chicken Cheesesteak: For those who, like a fire this one uses the same base ingredients as the original but adds a spicy glaze.
With three versions available, customers can choose between the classic combination, extra vegetables or a spicy finish.
Why Is Arby’s Adding Chicken to Its Cheesesteak Menu
The launch comes after Arby’s introduced its Angus Cheesesteak earlier in 2026. That sandwich became a permanent menu item and features thinly shaved Angus beef. The new chicken versions give customers another choice without moving away from the chain’s focus on meat-based sandwiches. Rather than relying only on traditional burgers and beef options, Arby’s continues to expand its menu with different takes on familiar favorites.
Arby’s has been adding new items to its menu throughout the year. It brought back sliders and Steak Nuggets, then introduced the French Dip Royale, a new take on its Classic French Dip & Swiss sandwich. The three Chicken Cheesesteak sandwiches are the latest additions, giving customers more choices, with different toppings and chicken instead of beef.
