Leading the early announcements is the new iPhone 17e. With additional devices still expected, Apple’s launch week is just getting started.
The rollout began on Monday, March 2, at 9 a.m. ET and will continue until Wednesday, March 4. Over these three days, Apple is expected to release a steady stream of press announcements and updates about new devices.

Why is Apple spreading announcements across several days?
Instead of revealing everything during a single presentation, the company is releasing details gradually through official announcements. This format allows Apple to spotlight multiple products throughout the week.
With several devices still expected, the rollout will continue until the week concludes with a “Special Apple Experience.”
What features does the new iPhone 17e bring?
Apple describes the new device as a more affordable addition to the iPhone 17 lineup while still delivering powerful performance.
At the center of the phone is the latest-generation A19 chip. It also introduces C1X, Apple’s newest cellular modem, which the company says is up to twice as fast as the C1 modem used in the iPhone 16e and offers 30% energy savings, contributing to extended battery life, as per Apple Newsroom.
The smartphone includes a 48-megapixel Fusion camera capable of capturing high-quality images, next-generation portraits, and 4K Dolby Vision video. The system also enables an optical-quality 2x Telephoto feature.
The display measures 6.1 inches and uses a Super Retina XDR panel protected by Ceramic Shield 2. Apple says the new glass provides three times better scratch resistance than the previous generation while reducing glare.
MagSafe support returns as well, allowing fast wireless charging and compatibility with a wide range of accessories, as per Apple Newsroom.
Satellite features are also included. These allow users to stay connected when outside cellular and Wi-Fi coverage through services like Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages, and Find My via satellite.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 17e begin on March 4, with availability starting March 11. The device launches at $599 with 256GB of storage, as per Apple Newsroom.
As Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, explained, “iPhone 17e combines powerful performance and features our users love at an exceptional value, making it a compelling option for customers looking to upgrade to the iPhone 17 family.”
She added, “We know our customers want a product that will last, and iPhone 17e delivers just that. With A19 for incredible performance, double the entry storage, a smarter camera system, and enhanced durability, iPhone 17e is designed to stay fast, secure, and valuable for years to come.”
